In it, the tormented two-faced hero of the famed Victorian fable about split personality relocates to the Wild West where his evil self preys on the meek and vulnerable, trampling on broken hearts. After running afoul of the Hostess, the vulture outlaw finally gets his comeuppance. Set in green pastures and arid deserts, it’s a familiar story of love and betrayal fashioned as a kind of anthropomorphic acid western about “the beast within”.
