Blossom Gazes
Humpty Dumpty is about examining traditional stories and reinterpreting them. It is also about merging visual art, movement and music.
The cute plump girl version of Humpty Dumpty is intended to bring joy, amusement, and a sense of wonder. It also challenges the way we perceive gender and body image.

Blossom Gazes is a constellation of towering steel flowers that watch over the landscape with quiet curiosity. Inspired by native Texas flora, these blossoms stand as whimsical guardians of the earth—each with a central eye that invites moments of witnessing and being seen. They ask us to pause, to look closer, to remember that our presence in nature is part of a larger, living exchange.
Created from mild steel and painted in luminous colors, the flowers bridge strength and fragility, permanence and change. As the light shifts throughout the day, their surfaces come alive—reflecting the sky, the passing seasons, and the movement of those who encounter them.
At its heart, Blossom Gazes is a meditation on connection—between people and place, the human-made and the natural, the seen and unseen. It is an offering of joy and reflection, a reminder that when we care for nature, we are also caring for ourselves.
